Restorative Yoga is the most restful, healing form of yoga, yet it awakens in us a hidden strength and vitality. The deep rest and regeneration that takes place gives so much back to a depleted, fatigued and often over active body. Our bodies are not designed to be on the go all the time most activities we engage in expend energy rather than restore it and then we wonder why we start to feel weak, low or unwell. Restorative yoga refills the cup, it gives the body a chance to rebuild and recuperate. Our bodies are designed to be in a restful state the majority of the time! Big shifts happen in our health and well being when we rest deeply like this, you will be surprised!
Bec will guide you through 2 hours of pure bliss, long held restorative poses will melt the stress away leaving you feeling peaceful, regenerated and truly alive with much more vitality. We support the body with blankets and props so that muscles and connective tissue can just let go. We also focus on the nervous system and the releasing the jaw. This form of yoga is perfect for anyone who is tired, fatigued or feeling stressed. It is especially excellent for athletes, those in high stress roles, shift workers, mums, and those experiencing illnesses that deplete their energy.
Each month our Restorative Yoga and sound immersion workshop will feature a different form of sound immersion ranging from singing bowls, to Cello to Digariedo.
